As part of Medway Print Festival 2017 we will be demonstrating a Japanese printing technique called Hapa Zome, using natural dyes from flowers and leaves to decorate headscarves and hankies. Be it strategically placed patterns or something more avant-garde, it is a nod to the Huguenot's love of using nature to create their intricate designs. Come along and try it for yourself. Drop in sessions run throughout the day. No printing experience required, suitable for adults and children.
