make an origami jumping frog
Start with a square piece of paper (a good size is 11cm x 11cm)
Fold opposite corners together and open up the paper laying it flat (these are called valley folds)
Fold each corner into the centre point to make another square.
Fold the top two square edges onto the centre line to create a kite shape.
Fold the short corner of the kite up.
Fold the lower corners of the triangle onto the centre line:
Fold the lower edge up.
Fold what was the lower edge down to meet the new lower edge as shown in the photo.
Fold the top corner down to give him (or her) a nice flat nose.
Turn the frog over give him a face and he’s ready to start jumping.
Make lots of frogs and have competitions to see who can jump the furthest.
