WELCOME PROJECT - STROOD

Hello, I’m Rachel from iPrintedThat. You’ll usually find me running printmaking workshops in Medway or restocking MedwayArtBox, but for the next few weeks I’ll be working on a public art installation in Strood called:

 

“Who Would Welcome a Call?” 

 

As part of Medway Council’s WELCOME project, my aim is to fill 300 BT Phonecards with people's memories using phone boxes - and that’s where you come in! Do you have a memory you’d like to share? It could be a life changing conversation you had, maybe it was a weekly mundane call or perhaps you remember the quirks of using a phone box. I’d love to hear them, to record them and keep them alive for all to see.

When I’ve collected all the memories they’ll be printed onto the phonecards and displayed in the BT Phone Box next to Strood Post Office.
