Join me at Nucleus Arts Chatham, Kent and discover a quick and easy way to add multiple colours to linocut prints - no previous experience necessary.

In this workshop, you'll learn relief printmaking using the “jigsaw” method, to create multi-colour prints from a single linocut tile. Bring a design with you, or choose from a selection on the day, then carve and print a set of greetings cards, in different colourways.

The session covers transfer techniques, image reversal, safe cutting, inking and registration, as well as how the jigsaw technique allows colour to be introduced without the need for multiple blocks or complex reduction printing. The final results range from bright and bold to painterly effects.
