Cyanotypes or sun prints are an early form of photography that use natural chemicals and the sun's UV light to produce beautiful blue prints. It's so simple to do that anyone can have a go, even children with a little bit of supervision.
When you arrive you'll be given everything you need to make your print including an envelope which contains your ready-to-use cyanotype paper, these are circular and measure approx 20cm / 8" in diameter. You'll also be given instructions on how to make your print and I'll be on hand to help you with any questions. You'll then go on a mini forage around the meadow to find natural elements such as leaves, flowers, feathers etc. to make your print.…
