studio 7 takeover - LINOCUT

Take over Studio 7 for a private workshop and relax with friends whilst enjoying a celebratory or a just-because-you-can linocut workshop.

 

The studio itself has been lovingly restored and you'll notice that it has an informal feel - there's a comfy Ercol chair, mohair cushions and rugs with some vintage touches and modern twists thrown in. This sets the scene perfectly for the workshop; the aim is for you and your friends to feel relaxed and enjoy playing with print.

 

The linocut workshop is suitable for beginners. You’ll learn transfer techniques, understand image reversal, get hands-on carving your tile, and conclude by inking and hand-printing your linocut on a 19th century press. You’ll each leave with multiple prints onto greetings cards and paper and take your linocut tile with you to carry on printing at home.

 

There are only 10 workshop available at this special price. Sales end Monday 18 December at 12pm.

 

Workshop for up to 4 people £125

Workshop for up to 6 people £175

 

Workshops run on Thursday mornings and Saturday afternoons/evening:

Thursday 11am - 1:30pm

Saturday 1pm - 3:30pm

Saturday 4:30pm - 7pm

However if there’s a date you particularly have in mind then just ask and I’ll try to fit you in.

 

The workshop is held at The Conservancy Board Building on Rochester High Street. Home to Nucleus Arts and Café Nucleus, it's a beautiful, early 20th Century building with lots of original features. Studio 7 is located on the second floor and there are approx. 40 stairs up to the studio. Unfortunately there is no disabled access.

 

Please note: If you don’t book a date at the time of purchase I will always do my best to accommodate you once you’re ready to book but please note, there’s only one of me! So the earlier you book the more chance you have of securing your preferred date.

 

HOW TO PURCHASE & BOOK YOUR WORKSHOP

 

If you don’t have a date in mind but don’t want to miss out on this special price then simply reply to this email with the number of people in your workshop (4 or 6) and I’ll send you a payment link. Once payment is received, I’ll send you an email confirming your purchase. You then have 9 months from the date of purchase to book and attend your workshop. You can find the calendar here. When you’re ready to book simply contact me with the date.

Search to see if it is available and if it is then contact me with the number of people in your workshop (4 or 6) and the date you want and I’ll send you a special price payment link. Can I get a refund? Sorry but refunds are not available on this offer.

 

What happens if I book a workshop and realise I need to change the date? I will always try my best to transfer a date but I can’t guarantee it. If you do need to change the date then please let me know in plenty of time. Check the calendar for available dates to rebook.
